Vacation Bible School - Choose Your Own Adventure Packets

For Vacation Bible School 2020, Roswell UMC is partnering with First Baptist Roswell and Roswell Presbyterian Church to offer Choose Your Own Adventure VBS packets for pick up. There are five VBS options your family can select. For each option you select, you will receive packets which include:

  • Bible story for preschool and elementary
  • Bible story video links
  • Playlist of worship songs
  • Craft ideas for preschool and elementary
  • Activities to choose from for preschool and elementary
  • Materials for the activities and crafts that you might not have at home

Choose Your Own Adventure Options:

  • Stand Strong: (Moses; Esther; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; Joseph; David)
  • Be Not Afraid: (Joshua; David; Mary; Jesus; Paul and Silas)
  • The Teachings of Jesus:(Lost and Found; The Good Samaritan; The Parable of the Sower; The Parable of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast; Wise and Foolish Builders)
  • Women of the Bible:(Sarah; Ruth and Naomi; Lydia; Mary and Martha; Mary Magdalene)
  • Jesus’ Miracles:(Feeding the 5000; Raising Lazarus from the Dead; Healing a Crippled Woman; Calming the Storm; Jesus Heals a Paralytic)

Registration is open through May 11. Families will pick up the packets on June 7 from 12 – 2 p.m. These packets are for you to use in the best way for your family. You can choose to do VBS that week and go through all the activities or spread them out over the summer when you need some idea suggestions.

A $5 donation per packet is suggested; however, if your family is not able to contribute in that way during this time, know that you are welcome to these resources free of charge! If you would like for your previous VBS payment to be donated to this effort, please let us know in the registration.
